Notes: Bag of Elbows reunited in Chicago. Dave Boyd moved to Chicago in 1991 and a few years later Rick and Andrew were in town, so what choice did they have but to answer the call of the gods. Bass was initially covered by Carl Saff, later of Emperor Penguin, but then turned over to fellow scenester Eli Miller. Murray played many bars in Chicago from 1996 to 1997 including Beat Kitchen, Elbow Room, Empty Bottle, Double Door, Lounge Ax, Fireside Bowl, and of course Phyllis' Musical Inn. Things looked promising but fell apart for no what seems like no reason at all.

Notes: These were recorded in 8 tracks on DAT and mastered by Carl Saff of SaffMastering. The 'studio' was our practice space in the cement lined basement of a building in Chicago's Wicker Park. Cigarette Burn could be considered Murray's theme song.  More >>
