Notes: The band was originally started by Keith, Rob, TJ, and Mark in 1988. After a mere 9 months in the band Keith wanted out. Lanny, who worked with Keith for a short time at the now defunct Mugwump's Cafe, asked Keith for phone numbers to some of the other band members to see if he could take over the soon to be open singing position. After a short transition period the group was writing and gigging again. Heretic Lunch played every available party, all ages show and the occasional national act opener.

The demise of the band started with Rob and Mark heading off to Universities outside of the Indianapolis area. Lanny and TJ went on to form The Birdmen of Alcatraz.
