<notes>Capitalizing on the punk scene that swept through Kokomo in the mid '80s, A.S.S. created chaotic songs about people they disliked and situations that pissed them off. They practiced at John Buetow's house and performed at Herron School of Art, Kokomo Armory, Camp Tycony and the Isis Theater, among other venues. They recorded often, both live & in the studio, always produced by John Buetow. In 1985, they released the cassete album <i>We're Destroying Ourselves</i>. A.S.S. was managed by Buck Sheveily. Tom Porter and Bob Peele often helped carry equipment.</notes>
