I wanted to see if I could create an entire concept album using only electronic sounds and no outside analog noises. No guitars, amplifiers, microphones, vocals or acoustic percussion, only electronic waveforms. Can a song have "heart" if it's artificially generated? At first, I thought those parameters would be limiting, but within that framework I found that I was able to create jazz (Dinner out), funk (Psychofunkapus, Duster) and ambient compositions (Airport). Techno, classical and new wave influences also peak out from behind the impulses. Grid became yet another frontier to explore; an interesting experiment, with some fun results. The title and cover photo are references to the electricity involved in the creation of the music and the parameters I put on the exercise.
